About the Event

Through this conference, we plan to bring together the Indian user research community to engage with and listen to experts and thought leaders - From a variety of disciplines (research, product management, and design), different geographies, and from varied roles (independent practitioners, research agencies, CXOs, CEOs, academicians, etc.)

Our hope is that this 3-day volunteer-driven conference will provide some provocations and food for thought, which will recharge us for what lies ahead.

To maintain confidentiality, the conference will not be recorded - We encourage you and our speakers to share your honest thoughts and foster candid conversations.
The user research community is currently in a state of flux due to a spate of layoffs, particularly in the tech sector. The impact of these layoffs has been strongly felt by the Indian user research community.

We believe that this is the right time for us to come together as a community - To reflect, take a step back, and learn or unlearn whatever is necessary to move forward as a discipline in a new and energized way.

It is with this intent, that we are putting together an online conference that is spread over 3 evenings - May 3rd to 5th 2023, 6-9 pm IST.

The conference name reflects this theme to ‘reflect’, ‘reboot’ and ‘renew’ – ‘RoohSearch’ is an amalgamation of the Urdu word ‘Rooh’ meaning ‘soul’ and ‘search.
